“United We Stand”

I've always loved traditional tattoo style eagles, so I decided to draw one and do a patriotic print. Even though our nation isn't currently "united", due to various reasons, I like to think back to a simpler time. One where we all came together as one nation. Sure we had our differences, but we had one common trait. We're all Americans. I also think back to a time where my parents, as European WWII immigrants, used to tell us kids stories how our family were forced out of their homes at gunpoint and literally risked everything to come to America. Because they knew it was the land of opportunity and meant freedom. That means everything to me. Hopefully we'll get back to that greatness someday. In the meantime, this hangs on my wall and is my personal reminder that I can do better.
